  • Powder Curing Oven: Ground-mounted, LPG-fired, straight oven with a “U” loop conveyor path and curing temperature of 200-220°C for 18 minutes. It features robust insulated cassette construction, ensuring thermal efficiency and adaptability for future scaling.
  • Environmentally Responsible: Equipped with pulse-jet type after filters, our plant ensures 100% pollution control and recovers over-sprayed powder for optimal material utilization.
  • Material Handling: Natural cooling zones and dedicated loading/unloading areas enhance throughput without compromising quality.

Our Powder Coating Process

FTI Manufacturing’s in-house powder coating process is designed for efficiency, durability, and quality. As a robust alternative to traditional liquid painting methods, our conveyorised system ensures a streamlined and consistent finish across every component.

Application
Components are electrostatically coated using fine, dry powder particles, comprising resin and pigment, sprayed via advanced applicators. The electrostatic charge ensures strong adhesion to the metal surface.

Coating Booth
The components pass through an automated back-to-back powder coating booth, equipped with reciprocators for uniform automatic coating from both sides. Manual touch-ups ensure detail precision. Overspray is minimized and recovered using a mono-cyclone powder recovery system with pulse-jet after filters.

Curing
Coated components enter a ground-mounted curing oven with a U-loop conveyor system. Heated using an LPG-fired burner and stainless-steel heat exchanger, the oven maintains a stable temperature of 200–220°C, curing the product for 18 minutes to achieve a tough and uniform finish.

Cooling & Unloading
Post-curing, parts naturally cool on the overhead conveyor before being unloaded, ready for the next phase or shipment.
